A post I knew some day I would I have to write as animals lives are shorter than ours, but knowing that doesn’t make this any easier. This week we have had to say goodbye to Thula. It has been and is heartbreaking and I am incredibly proud of Iris for being so strong and brave for her loyal friend. Iris wrapped her in her favourite blue cape and carried Thula to her resting place in the garden by the Treestump so we can visit her whenever we miss her. To support Iris please do share any memories of Thula that make you smile if you have met her or from our shared experiences through my photos, books and videos. You have all followed our journey and Thula’s story lives in everyone who was moved by her magic. She was one of a kind and a true inspiration, let’s celebrate her life and this will help heal our hearts ❤️
