The last week of our 2026 boating season 😥😞🥹

Sights from our voyages with a school group, a BRAND NEW care home and a returning care home, who invite their residents loved ones along to share the experience, always such a joy.

The no.1 nature sighting of the week goes to the family of five mandarin ducks who were heading towards the tunnel at Park Place estate 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆

We may not have posted many photos of late but you can rest assured my team remain busy putting smiles on faces.

The wildlife is very active at the time of year with geese flocking together in huge family groups, flying in their hundreds over the boat from the fields to the river and back.

If you would like to join us before our season ends (30th Oct) please get in touch NOW!
We have limited availability for group or Individuals wanting to join others on a ticketed cruise.

Increased wildlife spottings against the backdrop of stunning autumn 🍂 colours, whilst sipping a mug of hot chocolate 🍫 from the confines of our cosy cabin.

We have carried out our 200th river outing of the season!!!!! Gee whiz, we have been busy! ✅️🙏😊

There is still time to enjoy the vibrant riverside colours this autumn 🍂 The cabin will be warmed with central heating and our crew will be serving mugs of hot chocolate topped with marshmallows ☕️

We hosted another wonderful family gathering on Sunday with a magnificent banquet and a rather handsome furry passenger 🐾🐾

What a magical evening everyone had at on Saturday ✨️
Two of our regular boating families did a grand job of decorating 'Rivertime,' choosing SENSORY SENSATION as their theme. As always, my volunteer Skipper and Crew were amazing hosts.

On the bank we were honoured to be the chosen charity. Donations were collected from generous spectators to enable even more people to enjoy the freedom of being on the water.

Huge thanks to volunteer Peter Faarup and my fellow BNI Berkshire, Gloucestershire & Wiltshire pals for your help collecting. And to everyone else who played a part 🙏 🙌

What a great week it has been for close encounters with birdlife. Whilst waiting on the upper lay-by at , a rather plucky Kingfisher who was sat on the bull nose, ate his fishy lunch followed by making multiple plunges into the water right before our very eyes 👀
