Club members are a friendly, open minded bunch who are knowledgeable and very approachable, so do feel free to speak to us at shows, contact us with questions and join the forum - still the best place to get technical help plus buy and sell cars and parts. Join as a full member of the club and keep up to date with events, receive the 1/4ly magazine SkyRocket, get invited to display your vehicle on club stands including Ultimate Dubs and the NEC Classic plus obtain discounts. Ultimately all we ask is for you to get involved. Purists or modifiers alike we cater for all and we're not shy about having a few cold drinks and a social once the cars have been parked up for the night when we do get together. PLEASE NOTE - if you're not going to sell cars or parts on the forum and are listing for free on here you MUST include a firm price. Deletion of posts and removal from group will follow for any un-priced items. No serial breakers. No ebay links. Traders or group buys please check with us first. Use your common sense - if we think you're anything other than a private seller and are taking the p**s the post will be removed without explanation.

📸 WE’RE AT NATIONALS! 🚗🎉

The field is open and the Nationals weekend has officially begun!

A few quick reminders for everyone arriving:

🏕️ Camping:
When you arrive, turn right into the rally field (don’t head up to the main park). If we’re not there yet, just find a space and get yourselves set up — we’ll catch up with you.

⚡ Electric:
Hook-ups are along the fence line. If you haven’t booked electric, please avoid pitching in the hook-up area so those who have paid can access them. We may ask you to move if you’re blocking a hook-up.

🚗 Parking:
Please keep all vehicles on the hard standing — no cars, campervans or motorhomes on the grass.

🌳 Important:
Please keep the tree line/roadway clear as this is used for access to the stables. If blocked, you will be asked to move.

🏕️ Camping & Meeting Point Reminder

If you’re camping with us at Golden Valley Campsite, our What3Words location is: ///ladder.attending.workbook.

When you arrive, turn right into the camping field (not left towards the main park). If we’re not there when you arrive, just find yourself a space and set up – we’ll catch up with you when we’re back.

🚿 Shower block shown in yellow

⚡ Electric Hook-Ups (shown in blue) If you’ve booked electric, please pitch close to the hook-up points. If you don’t have electric, please avoid the hook-up area so those who have paid for it can access their supply. If you’re blocking a hook-up, we’ll ask you to move.

🌳 Please keep the tree line (shown in red) on the left-hand side clear as you enter the rally field. This is an access road for the stables and must be kept clear at all times. If you’re blocking it, you’ll be asked to move.

🚗 Parking: No vehicles are allowed on the grass. Please park on the hard standing next to the camping field. The same applies to campervans and motorhomes – please use the hard standing only.

🚙 Saturday: Please don’t arrive at the venue before 10am. Instead, meet at the campsite from 9:00am for a 9:30am departure.

See you all soon – we can’t wait! 🙌

🚗 Could your Scirocco be on the Scirocco Register stand at the NEC Classic Motor Show?
We're now on the lookout for cars to represent the club at this year's NEC Classic Motor Show.
We'll be keeping an eye out for potential display cars at Nationals, but if you can't make it or would like to put your car forward for consideration, send us an email at [email protected] with a few photos of your car.
✅ Free exhibitor entry to the show if your car is selected✅ Showcase your Scirocco on the club stand✅ Be part of one of the UK's biggest classic motoring events
Please note that display vehicles must remain on the stand from Thursday to Sunday, and owners are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.
Think your Scirocco would make a great addition to the stand? We'd love to see it!

Trying to explain the National Meet to non-car people is always interesting...

"So you drive for a few hours, park in a field, spend the weekend talking about Sciroccos, then drive home?"

Yep. And it's brilliant. 😎
