Community Chaplaincy Association The membership organisation for Community Chaplaincies supporting people leaving prison to make a fresh start.

We are the national body representing Community Chaplaincy projects across the country providing mentoring and resettlement support to people leaving prison or serving community sentences. We assist our Members in areas such as advice on start-up, development and on-going operational matters: particularly tracking outcomes and measuring impact. We also promote the Community Chaplaincy approach as a whole to stakeholders within the criminal justice sector and government, as well as the general public, for the benefit of our Members and the people they support.

Book now to secure your place for the Community Chaplaincy Visioning Day
- 3rd July, London

This is an important event for the network as we get some expert advice and discuss how we want to develop the Community Chaplaincy network over the next 3 years.

Speakers will be:
- Duncan Shrubsole of the Lloyds Bank Foundation
- Dr Jane Dominey of the Institute of Criminology at the University of Cambridge
The event will be facilitated by Carl Reynolds and there will be workshops designed to look at how we move the network forward and provide the best support to people leaving prison or serving community sentences.

Please register early for this event at this link: Eventbrite. There is a small charge for the event of £20. This will be used to help us support those having to travel some distance from London.*

* Note on travel bursaries: we do not want travel costs to be a barrier to any member project attending. We are therefore running a travel bursary scheme. Those travelling long distances are encouraged to apply for reimbursement of part of their fare. If you intend to make use of the travel bursary please let me know by 16th June by email to [email protected] to arrange reimbursement.
