On Friday we discussed why our mental health is so important, what can impact our mental health and support networks ❤️
With a lovely afternoon sharing our favourite things to do to unwind, show kindness to others and support each other.

What a lovely afternoon we’ve had engaging with parents and carers about what support is available with North Staffs Carers & Shared Lives Stoke-on-Trent and opportunities here at The Grocott Centre.

Our members have been busy start to finish providing an excellent service in the coffee shop & and safe to say afternoon tea was a hit!

For any parents/carers that were unable to join us today - we meet on the 1st Friday of every month… so feel free to pop in next time 😊

We are pleased to welcome all Parents/Carers to our monthly chill and chat afternoon next week with North Staffs Carers!

This Group is open to all Parents and Carers of adults with SEND in Stoke-On-Trent and Staffordshire! Everyone is welcome to join us - whether you'd like to just pop in for a chat, find out about what support is available or just to enjoy a cup of tea and fresh cream scone, that's fine too!

Our next afternoon will be held on Friday 2nd October 1pm- 3pm. Shared Lives Stoke-on-Trent and Stoke-on-Trent Sendiass will be joining to share information, support or advise on any questions you may have.

Chat with us on the day for any other queries and we can try and support with queries or sign posting 😀

A brilliant evening enjoyed on Friday by The Grocott Centre team - we were invited to attend The Lord Mayors Charity Ball to help raise awareness and funds for . we had a fabulous time ♥️
