Thank you for the many years of happy music making together across the south coast. Melody Tots was launched in June 2014. A BIT OF BACKGROUND Melody Tots is led by Ruth ...a Mum of two boys who loves music and loves to share it with others. Ruth set up Melody Tots in 2014 to help children discover and enjoy nursery rhymes and music and to help families meet other families from the local community. Melody Tots ran music sessions for babies, toddlers and preschoolers for nearly 7 years before lockdown and is now back in 2024! Ruth is a Grade 8 violinist, Grade 6 pianist and enthusiastic singer. Ruth is also a qualified, experienced primary school teacher, including roles as Music Manager and Choir Director. In more recent years since lockdown Ruth has been teaching music and the violin to Early Years and primary aged children across Portsmouth. Melody Tots is not a franchise...Ruth has set Melody Tots up herself to share her love of music with the local community!
