Pictures from our joint beaver and squirrel sleepover, they all had a fantastic time and made us leaders smile lots. They went home with the biscuits they made and decorated and a camp blanket badge each to continue our celebrations of section birthdays.

Just a couple pics from tonight sleepover, more to follow tomorrow. All are having a great time.

Yesterday was our group AGM, we combined this with a family fun day to celebrate our sections birthdays, squirrels turned 5, beavers turned 40, cubs turned 110 and our scouts first ever international trip. As you can see from the pictures we had a great day even with the showers first off and the wind trying to turn our event shelters into kites. If anyone has any photos to add please let a leader know and we will get them added.

Our volunteers work hard to ensure all sections have a great time and earn lots of badges. We also play hard! Tonight we had a social evening at hatchet harrys before going for a meal ar zizzi's. A great night was had by all who attended and we all went home with the correct amount of limbs, toes and fingers. Thank you to all our volunteers for your hard work. Videos of the axe throwing is in the comments section.

The Scouts recently returned from their first trip abroad. They went to P**a in Croatia for a week and despite the very hot weather they managed to take part in a variety of activities including; high ropes course, sea kayaking, snorkelling, day trip to Venice, tour around P**a, visit to the aquarium and lots of time in the sea. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the leaders in particular didn’t want to come home and are already thinking about where to go next!
