We began the week with a Much-loved trip to the local park! ⭐️ The children spent the day engaging In a variety of physical activites designed to keep them active, challenged and having fun. 😊

The children had a fantastic time taking on our challenging obstacle course! ⚽️ They were fully engaged, showing determination, teamwork and lots of enthusiasm as they tackled each obstacle. It was brilliant to are them encouraging one another, pushing themselves and most importantly, having fun! 👏🏼

What better way to bring our Summer Playscheme to a close than with a fantastic trip and Fun Day! ☀️🎉

The children had an amazing time at Play Factore in Manchester, home to the UK’s largest indoor play frame, with tunnels, slides, giant bubble balls, spider nets, rollers, football and basketball — and plenty more to explore! 🛝⚽️🏀

We then finished the provision with a brilliant Fun Day, filled with games, laughter and lots of fun, with the bouncy castle proving a firm favourite! 🏰🥳
A fantastic end to a wonderful Summer Playscheme, full of happy memories! ☀️✨

Week 2 of our Summer Playscheme has been filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of exciting activities! 🌟

Our Arts and Crafts sessions encouraged children to get creative through a range of hands-on projects, including painting money boxes and enjoying freestyle painting, with plenty of imagination on display. 🎨✨

Outdoor play brought lots of energy, teamwork and fun. Children took part in games including Tug of War, where they enthusiastically cheered one another on, demonstrating fantastic encouragement, determination and team spirit. Other favourites included Splat, Bulldog, skipping, and throw-and-catch games, keeping everyone active and engaged. 👏🏼⚽️

This week also saw our young gardeners getting their hands dirty as they learned about how flowers and plants grow. Children planted their own seeds, explored the importance of caring for plants, and enjoyed working together outdoors. 🌱🌼

As always, everyone has been well fuelled with a delicious selection of nutritious meals, including freshly prepared food from Royal Savouries alongside in-house favourite dishes, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed by the children. 🍽️💚

Looking forward to more fun- let's hope the sun keeps shining. ✨

We’ve been busy with arts and crafts, table tennis, and a mix of indoor and outdoor games — including musical chairs and plenty of games made up on the spot.☺️👏🏼 Some of these children have the most wonderful imaginations!
We’ve also been treated to some very tasty and healthy food, provided by Royal Savouries.
Looking forward to more fun ahead!🌟

It’s been a little quiet on here lately… but that’s only because we’ve been busy doing what we do best 💪

Here’s a quick flashback to some recent interclub competitions 👊

Our long-standing Thai boxing sessions are as popular as ever, and it’s been incredible to see the progress our young people are making. From stepping into the ring with confidence to showing real discipline and determination, they’ve been doing themselves proud.

And it’s not just about competition- the impact goes far beyond that. Week in, week out, our young people are recognising the value of volunteering- helping set up sessions, clearing away, and supporting each other wherever they can. Alongside improvements in fitness, focus, and mental wellbeing, they’re building a real sense of responsibility, teamwork, and community.

Huge respect to everyone putting in the work- and to Mike and volunteers behind the scenes making it all happen 🙌

Easter Play Scheme! 🌟 We had an amazing week at our Easter Playscheme week. The children had jumped into the variety of fun-filled activites designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and encourage teamwork. 😊✨️👏🏼

In Arts and Crafts, the children explored their imagination through colourful painting and exciting DIY projects including making paper plate bunnies and decorating eggs. 🐰🎨

Outdoor play brought plenty of energy and laughter with games like Tug Of War where team spirit was on full display! The children cheered each other on showing determination, support, and lots of smilies along the way as they joined in with more activites including skipping, bulldog, swingball, tig, football and even throw and catch!🌞
Indoor play included a variety board games, snakes and ladders, connect four, monopoly, uno and many more! We also played party games including musical statues, musical chairs and even musical bumps. 😊🌟👏🏼

As usual we had lots of healthy foods on offer throughout the week, this always goes down a treat for the children. We had foods including, pasta, Wraps, salad, sandwiches, yoghurts, pizza, fruits and much more! 🍕🧃
