Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Senior Piano day on Sunday. Wonderful playing from the seniors and adults.

This explains very succinctly the value of taking part in a festival like Springboard. Thank you all for playing so beautifully.

Recognition is well-earned for our Roedean pianist, who impressed at the Springboard Festival. 🎹

Jemima (Year 10) won 1st in the 13–14 years Baroque class, 2nd in Jazz & Light Music, and earned an invitation to the Junior Championship recital to perform her trio of pieces after scoring highly in the Romantic class. Charlie (Year 12) won both the Grade 6 & 7 class and the memory class and now hopes to progress to the Senior Championship. Beatrice (Year 9) placed 2nd in Romantic (13-14 years and under) and 3rd in Jazz & Light Music (13-14 years).

Events like Springboard give our students a supportive competitive stage, expert feedback, and opportunities to build confidence and musicianship.

Springboard starts tomorrow! Junior piano on Saturday and Sunday with Richard Deering adjudicating and Guitar on Sunday with Richard Durrant. Looking forward to seeing you there.
