The Cotswold Order of Druids We are a group of people who practice and celebrate druidry as a living native spiritual path. The Order celebrated its 25th birthday in 2020.

The Cotswold Order of Druids was conceived in 1995 at a venue in Bath attended by several Druid chiefs. The Order was invited to join the Council of British Druid Orders (CoBDO) and became a member the following year (1996). The founder and current Archdruid was inaugurated and voted in by the members as Chosen Chief of the Cotswold Order in Stonehenge on 17th June 2000. Our main site for ritual is the Rollright stone circle, near Chipping Norton and we hold five of our annual festivals here. Our Imbolc ceremony is held in Clearwell Caves near Coleford in the Royal Forest of Dean, and our Summer and Winter Solstices take place at a private gathering in Wiltshire .

Lughnasadh has been and gone.
We enjoyed a balmy afternoon with ritual, lammas games (egg and spoon race) and cake and mead.
Kate won the Eisteddfod and was presented with a silver acorn.
The year is whizzing past, and we are now thinking of the Autumn Equinox on Sunday 20th September at our usual stone circle.
