🍦 A Summer Success for Travis! 🍦

Huge congratulations to Travis, who achieved his Grade 1 Riding Certificate at the end of term - less than a year after joining us.

One of our favourite moments was watching him ride Silas while holding his ice‑cream cones, practising balance and coordination in a fun, confidence‑building way.

Big achievements don’t only happen at competitions - they happen right here in our weekly sessions, where small steps make a huge difference. 🩵

☀️As the summer holidays roll on, the team at South Downs RDA are busy planning for the start of our new term in September... but also taking a moment to look back on some highlights from the past year.

One of our proudest moments was seeing Andrea compete at the RDA National Championships for the second year in a row. Riding the wonderful Colorada, she delivered a beautifully calm and focused dressage test in extremely hot weather and achieved an impressive 5th place in her class.

For us, this is more than a competition result. It’s a reminder of how RDA opens doors to confidence, independence and achievement.

A huge thank you to our dedicated volunteers who supported Andrea throughout her journey 🩵
