📣Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund we have the opportunity to offer a wider range of workshops and activities at our new Ecohub. 🎉

👂We would love to hear from as many people as possible about what they would like to see happening at the hub so we have put together a super short survey so you can share your views! 💬

If you can help us get the word out by sharing this post as well then that would be hugely appreciated!🙏🙂

Today we collected, distributed and saved approximately 70kg of food, to around forty individuals and families.

The same weight as an emu.

It makes you think, doesn't it? Thanks to all the volunteers, suppliers and the amazing library who make this all possible, day in day out, all year round. You know who you are.

Don’t forget we are at the eco hub tomorrow and not the library for the monthly repair cafe!
Bring your broken stuff and get it fixed for free!

This Saturday we'll be in Bampton Street not the library.

Update, Tuesday afternoon:
ALL GONE - thanks everyone. Approximately 70kg of food surplus moved on to good homes and saved from landfill

We're food surplus, not a food bank so if you can take it and use it. we're delighted to pass it on, and you're helping us to stop good food going into a bin. The only question you'll be asked is, 'What five items would you like today?'

Find us at the library, Phoenix Lane.

Thanks to: Tesco Express ; Big Tesco; Lidl; M&S Tiverton You guys are brilliant for looking out for us!

There is a project near Tiverton to "bring Bickleigh Mill back to life as a hub for community life, local enterprise, and sustainability." You can read more about and support the project here: https://bickleighmill.org.uk/
Filling in the form on the linked page will help demonstrate local support for the project.

We’ll send you a short questionnaire so you can let us know what you would like to see at Bickleigh Mill. We will also sign you up for regular updates about the project.
