# ♥️ Brilliant job by the Ace of Spades team ♥️

Chrissie gifted this beautiful guinea-pig hutch to her daughter, Clare.

The Ace of Spades did the refurb, and Chrissie was was really taken with how lovely it is.

I think the hutch is so cute, with the picketfence base and we will be sad when it's whisked off for the guinea-pigs!

All watered in and mulched.

A brief lull in the rain has allowed me to get muck into the greenhouses. Once dug in, I can get my overwintering garlic planted.

The last two cucumbers have been harvested, along with one big and one small cauli. The rest is mostly greens; broccoli spears, kale, Swiss chard, beet leaves.

Most was delivered to friends.

- Clearing the greenhouses

The tomato plants and supports have all been removed. I am still to decide whether I try and overwinter the chilli and pepper plant.

Once it's all cleared, I can add muck and get on with planting garlic.

Not an allotment day, but the cat got fed. I was able to get on with greenhouse jobs.

I make no complaint about the rain, as East Anglia will needs lots more to replenish reservoirs.
