Ben supports individuals to navigate through life’s challenges, empowering them to make positive, lasting change. Ben works with people to improve their lives by enhancing their health and wellbeing through its free and confidential online self-help, helpline and support services. Ben provides life-changing support to those facing crisis as well as helping them prevent crisis. Ben’s support empowers people to be more in control of managing their health and wellbeing to help them live well, think well, feel well and work well. Ben’s support is tailored and relevant to the needs of the individual, based on a wide range of support options and addressing every aspect of a person’s life.

Here’s our story of the month which shows that, sometimes, all it takes is one unexpected life event to turn everything upside down.

After nearly 30 years in the automotive industry, Ian became the victim of a pension scam, leaving him struggling financially and facing challenges with his mental health. With support from Ben, he's rebuilding his confidence and looking positively towards the future.

Four challengers. Five days. 4,167 metres. One incredible challenge for Ben. 🏔️

This November, Matt Robinson, B2B Trading Director at LKQ Euro Car Parts; Pete Brookes, Sales Director LKQ Euro Car Parts; Jonny Harris, Sales Director at NRF (Nederlandse Radiateuren Fabriek) and Ellen Plumer Head of Awareness & Experience at Ben - Support for Life, will head to Morocco to trek through the High Atlas Mountains and attempt to summit Mount Toubkal summit 4,167m, the highest peak in North Africa.

They’ll face winter terrain, sub-zero temperatures and high altitude as they push themselves physically and mentally to raise £40,000 for Ben.

Every donation will help Ben continue to provide life-changing and often lifesaving support to automotive people and their families when they’re struggling or in crisis.
