Hi everyone,

Just a little update to let you know that Tora is currently very unwell with an infection that started at the beginning of August. She is now on her fourth course of antibiotics, which finishes on the 24th, and is being assessed by the Antibiotic Therapy Team.

For the next few weeks, her health has to come first, so unfortunately we won’t be able to send out our care packages or keep up with requests as normal.

Please know that you are not being ignored. If you’ve emailed or sent a request, we have seen it — we just don’t currently have the capacity to respond.

Although we didn’t take the win with Paddy the Squire, we’re incredibly grateful to have been part of such a fantastic event and to have had the opportunity to represent our charity. 🏇

A massive congratulations to the winning charity, Help 4 Homeless Veterans! 🎉 They were an absolute pleasure to have at our table, and the incredible work they do to support homeless veterans is truly inspiring. ❤️

Unfortunately, tonight’s meeting at Goole Library has been cancelled due to the school summer holidays, as childcare can be difficult for many during the six-week break.

We hope everyone enjoys some well-deserved rest and relaxation over the summer – a little much-needed R&R is good for us all! 😊

Our next meeting will be on 6th September. We look forward to seeing you all then!
