A repeat post from my personal page 💗💗

🌄 GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! 🙏🏻😘

Well… it’s nearly time to start planning my next BIG adventure! 🇺🇸✈️💃

I’m heading to the USA to see my beautiful family in Louisiana! 😘❤️🇺🇸 And because I apparently can’t do anything the normal way 😂, I’m planning a wild, cheap, cheerful and adventurous route! 🌎🎒

The plan is to travel through:

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁿 Scotland
🇬🇧 Northern Ireland
🇮🇪 The Republic of Ireland

Not plodding this time but by our amazing public transport 🚋🚞🚎🚍🚅🚃🚙

…and stop along the way to see some of the beautiful friends I’ve met on my travels! ❤️❤️❤️

So WATCH OUT… I may just be knocking on your door! 😂😂🚪🚪

Knock knock… 👀😂

Apparently, if you fly out of Dublin, you complete your US immigration and customs clearance in Dublin before you fly, so when you land in the USA, you arrive as a domestic traveller. 🇮🇪✈️🇺🇸 How cool is that?!

I’ve worked SO hard this summer while healing from my injury, helping out at Moignes Court in this crazy heat ☀️🥵 — and in exchange, I’m getting a ticket to the USA! 🎟️🇺🇸

So you can imagine me dancing around like W***y Wonka:

🍫💃 “I’ve got a golden ticket! I’ve got a golden ticket in my hand!” 🎟️😂

✈️🛩️🛬💺🛫☁️🌥️

I’m SO excited to see my daughter, son and my gorgeous grandbabies! 💗💗💗💗💗

The only sad part is that my daughter Taylor, who’s in Sheffield, can’t come this time. She’s just started a new job and has all the usual money/time commitments, but she’ll definitely be with us in our hearts. ❤️

So… WATCH THIS SPACE! 👀🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸

💃💃💃💃💃
🚪🚪 KNOCK KNOCK!!! 😂😂😂

For now, I’m just waiting for my new passport as I had to renew it. 📕✈️

Then I need to sort out my ESTA (travel authorisation), book my plane ticket 🎟️ and make my crazy travel plans to Dublin! 🇮🇪🛫

And finally… the adventure continues! 🌎❤️

Thank you all so much for following my journeys — even while things have been a little quieter lately:

I’ve been taking some time to heal from the injuries I picked up in Ireland last year. ❤️❤️❤️

I really appreciate every single one of you — the wonderful people I’ve met along the way, those I’m yet to meet, my friends in Dorset, and my friends in Birmingham. ❤️
And of course my wonderful loving caring supportive family 💖💖💖💖💖

I’m heading back to Dorset tomorrow, as the Airbnb season finishes on November 1st, so there are still a few more lovely guests to meet and changeovers to do! 🏡❤️

I feel incredibly blessed that the Cree family — Ralph, Dizzi, Ocean and Solar — have opened their hearts and home to me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

And yesterday, I had a lovely day visiting the incredible Winterbourne House with Rosie and Tony. 🌿🏡❤️

Rosie and Tony have actually been following my journey for many, many years, so it was especially lovely to spend some time together and for them to show me around. ❤️🥰

Winterbourne House is such an incredible place — and such a youngster of a home, built in 1904! 👶😂

That’s practically brand new compared with Moignes Court, which dates all the way back to 1267! 😂🏰

It was a lovely day, and I’m so grateful for the people I’ve met through my adventures — some of whom have become very special friends along the way. ❤️🌎
Oh I also met Lovely Dors ( Doreen ) the other night celebrating 🍾 😀 2 birthdays 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 🎊 Happy Birthday Tony and Jock ( who was from Kidcudbright Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 a place I loved when I walked it ha ha I pronounced it wrong I said Kid Cud bright 🌞 ha ha ha look at the photo 📸

I love meeting new people who live on the coast and I can type there home towns into Facebook and show them when I plodded through ....I loved Kidcudbright and all of Dumfries and Galloway 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💖🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

So many adventures still to come… and I can’t wait to share them with you! 🇬🇧🇮🇪🇺🇸💃✈️❤️

Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone.
Sending lotsa, lotsa love to you all! ❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘

Absolutely! 😍 For this post I’d go for a mix of travel, adventure, UK/Ireland, USA, family, walking and your personal journey rather than making them all generic.

I do NOT want to start a nasty war or argument here. ❤️

But please let me share a few things from my own personal experience and perspective. I’m asking that you read this with an open mind. 🙏

NUMBER 1 🇬🇧

I am proud to be British — 10000000%! 🇬🇧❤️

And I LOVE adore THIS IRISH
and they have treated me beautifully well on my journey Walk with me, Tracey and Aggies Epic hike around the UK Coastline 🇬🇧
Tracey and Aggies Epic hike around The Republic of Ireland 🇮🇪 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

NUMBER 2 ❤️

I am NOT against helping migrants, refugees, families, women or children who genuinely need help.

NUMBER 3

I am NOT prejudiced against people because of where they come from, their background, their culture or their circumstances.

BUT PLEASE LET ME EXPLAIN WHY I UNDERSTAND SOME OF THE FRUSTRATION BEING EXPRESSED BY PEOPLE HERE IN THE UK.

In 2006, after spending around 20 years wanting to return HOME but being unable to, I finally came back to my own country after an incredibly difficult seven-year custody battle.

At that point, I had to leave my then 15- and 17-year-old son and daughter in the USA 🇺🇸, while bringing my 10-year-old child HOME to MY country.

I was a British citizen. My child had dual citizenship.

Yet when I returned:

I COULD NOT GET HELP.

I COULD NOT GET A JOB.

I COULD NOT GET A BANK ACCOUNT.

I ended up doing voluntary work simply to build up local references.

I had to wait around six months to get a bank account.

I was put into a room with my child, and I was told, in effect, that if my family helped me financially or with accommodation, I would not receive housing assistance.

It was an incredibly difficult time.
I then went on to work 7 years as an activities co-ordinator at a dementia home where I was given 3 awards for my work there !!
Then 7 years working for the RSPCA.
6 yrs now into my solo walk around the UK Coastline 🇬🇧 and Republic of Ireland 🇮🇪 raising money for the AMAZING RNLI ❤️

So when I hear British people talking about how difficult things are for them — housing, waiting lists, the cost of living, access to services and opportunities — I DO understand some of that frustration.💔

That doesn't mean I want anyone to suffer.

It means I believe we should be able to talk honestly about the pressures on EVERYONE who needs help.

But PLEASE — DO NOT TAKE THIS OUT ON THE INCREDIBLE RNLI. ❤️

The RNLI is doing what it exists to do: saving lives.

Whatever our views on immigration, asylum policy or border control, people should not be attacking the people who go out there to rescue human beings in danger. 🚤❤️

I have also walked the Kent coastline as part of my journey, Walk with me, Tracey and Aggies Epic hike around the UK Coastline .” 🇬🇧🥾🐾
Tracey and Aggies Epic hike around The Republic of Ireland 🇮🇪
When I arrived in Dover, I saw conditions that genuinely shocked and upset me — rubbish, nappies, bedding, food waste and human waste left behind in woodland, I wanted to camp in therefore I ended up sleeping in a World War II bunker above Dover Port in my tent, Aggie! ⛺️❤️

And when walking along the Kent coastline, I saw something else that really stayed with me.

I saw people who had worked hard all their lives to buy homes by the sea, looking out of their upstairs windows with binoculars.

I thought i was about to see dolphins, sharks or something amazing.

Instead, what I saw was a big black dinghy arriving.

Myself and the kent homeowners watched people running in different directions, police vans and sirens going up and down the road, and mums taking the hands of their children quickly away from the area.!!

That is a frightening and confusing situation for EVERYONE involved.

I also had a conversation with a lovely elderly gentleman in a small Irish village.

He told me:

“I've worked my whole life. Generations of my family helped make this village what it is.”

He told me his granddaughter lives in a one-bedroom home with five children and had been on a housing waiting list for five years.

I could understand the hurt behind his question:

“Why is my granddaughter still waiting?”

He also told me he has 12 great-grandchildren and would love to buy them all new bicycles 🚲❤️ — but simply cannot afford to.

And he sees other people arriving with new bicycles and other things, which makes him wonder why his own family is struggling.

Whether every detail of someone's perception is correct or not, the feeling of being forgotten is real.

And I think we have to be able to talk about that without immediately labelling somebody racist.

We ALL have views.

We ALL have opinions.

And we ALL deserve to be able to ask questions.

Sometimes I ask myself:

Why are so many of the people arriving just men?

Where are the women and children?

What is happening in OUR COUNTRY — our beautiful, proud country? 🇬🇧❤️

And before anyone misunderstands me:

YES — WE SHOULD HELP PEOPLE WHO ARE IN GENUINE NEED WHEN WE CAN.

Of course we should.

But I also believe we need to look after vulnerable people who are already living here.

Because somewhere around the corner there could be a British child who hasn't even had breakfast that morning.

Shouldn't we make sure that child is fed too?

Can't we care about BOTH?

That is the question I am asking.

My daughter in the USA 🇺🇸 would love to move here and raise her children near her British mum.

Even though she has connections here and is legally able to be here, the costs and complications involved in establishing citizenship by descent for my grandchildren can be incredibly difficult and expensive. 💔

And that makes me question our systems too.

Why can it be so incredibly complicated for families with genuine connections to this country?

Let's Talk, Listen and Find Solutions✓

These are not questions I ask because I hate anybody.

They come from my own experiences, from what I have witnessed while walking around our coastline, and from conversations I have had with ordinary people who are struggling.

WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO TALK ABOUT THESE THINGS.

But let's direct our anger where it belongs.

The RNLI is NOT the enemy. ❤️🚤

The volunteers who risk their own lives to save others deserve our gratitude, respect and support — not our abuse. ❤️

If there are problems with immigration, asylum, housing, border policy or the way resources are allocated, then OUR GOVERNMENT AND PARLIAMENT need to answer those questions.

Not the RNLI.

Not vulnerable people.

And not ordinary families who are simply trying to survive.

We need to find a way of having these difficult conversations without hatred, without racism and without dehumanising anyone.

Because surely we can be proud of Britain 🇬🇧, care about people who need our help ❤️, protect our communities 🏡, support vulnerable British families AND show compassion to people fleeing

My personal opinion
Free speech and all

Much love ❤️

🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪Good morning I guess you lovely nosy lot wanna know where I've woken up this morning Glosh Beach the Mullet Peninsula ❤️❤️
I slept soooo well cradled by the sand dunes lulled asleep by the waves .. 🌊
A glorious sunset and 🌅 🌄 💖

Spark...a poem
It's dark but there's a spark a glow shining brightly,
Though I sleep alone I have company nightly,
Who is it you ask who cradles my dreams,
And banishes my nightmares and shows me what life means,
It's me yes me myself and I,
That solo single don't you cry,
Because all you desire all you create,
Is deep within you so don't hesitate,
To smell the flowers and the fresh morning air,
Wrinkle your clothes and tassle your hair,
Let the sand or the dirt run like a river through your toes,
Let your light shine like a bonfire as the heat burns your nose,
Jingle your bells pop your own cherry,
Make your cheeks hurt with laughter dance and be merry,
And those who choose to join you are a part of your flock,
They stay up with you talking till crazy o'clock.
And as the night draws to an end and soon the morning greets us,
We conquered yesterday and nothing will defeat us
