👏🏻 A massive thank you to our volunteers 👏🏻

With the site now clear and all the equipment packed away, we want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank to every volunteer who has made Suffolk Punch 2026 possible. Some volunteers have dedicated nearly 2 years to plan and prepare for this event, creating an adventure that our young people will remember for a lifetime.

To our organising team, activity teams, subcamp staff, catering and support teams, site services, welfare and safeguarding volunteers, transport team, first aid team, and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes or on site, we cannot thank you enough for making Suffolk Punch 2026 truly special.

We also extended our thanks to leaders and section helpers for their time and commitment. They have also put in countless hours in planning to bring young people to punch and supporting them throughout the week.

Amanda Holden has admitted she 'hasn't stopped crying' after last night's Britain's Got Talent final - and she wasn't the only famous face celebrating. 🥲

The Hawkstone Farmers Choir beat nine other acts to win the grand finale on Sunday night, performing an original song called This Is Home in front of a backdrop of the local countryside through the changing seasons.

The group dedicated the emotional performance to anyone who is currently struggling. ❤️

Their victory secured them the £250,000 prize pot and a life-changing spot at the Royal Variety Performance. It marks the second year in a row that Amanda Holden's Golden Buzzer act has won the entire ITV competition.

But she wasn't the only high-profile name celebrating the victory.

A video shared on social media immediately after the announcement showed judge Simon Cowell celebrating alongside TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson.

Simon remarked that he could see how nervous Jeremy got while waiting to see if the choir had done enough to win. "They worked so hard, thank you for having us," Jeremy said.

Fans also flooded social media with emotional reactions following the result. One viewer said: "So glad they have a voice - what a special final."

Another fan added: "So bloody proud of them all absolutely smashed it, massive congratulations guys such hard working worthy winners."
