🎃 Happy Halloween from our Nature Nook! 🎃 Do you have any spooky plans?

From tiny seeds to spooky creations! 🌱👻

Our Nature Nook children have been busy growing their very own pumpkins from seed, caring for them as they grew, harvesting them and finally turning them into fantastic Halloween creations! 🎃

What a wonderful way to experience the whole growing journey, from seed to pumpkin, while learning about nature, plants and where our food comes from. 🌿

We think they’ve done a spooktacular job! 👏🧡

Happy Halloween everyone! 🕷️🦇

🐏💕 Love Island: Frampton Farm edition!

The first of our rams moved in with his ewes today… and he’s wasting no time introducing himself! 😂

No dating apps, no awkward first dates—just a field of lovely ladies and one very happy chap. 🐑🌿

Hopefully today’s autumn romance will bring the pitter-patter of tiny hooves in spring! 🥰

Today we said a fond farewell to Pork Chop the boar, Big Pig, Skinny Pig and their gorgeous piglets as we waved them off to their new home. 🐷🐽

We will miss this lovely little family, but we’re so pleased they are heading somewhere with even more space to run around, explore and enjoy life together. Wishing them lots of happiness in their new home! ❤️🏡

💕🦙 Some wonderful news, alongside some very sad news from our alpaca family.

Today our alpaca girls had their pregnancy scans and we’re delighted to share that Audrey, Summer and Bo are all expecting! 🥰🍼🦙

We’re so excited to hopefully welcome three gorgeous little cria to the farm next year. 💕

But this happy news comes at a sad time for us. Icegem, pictured at the back, sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago. 💔 She was a very special member of our alpaca family and is very much missed by many at the farm.

So today feels a little bittersweet — remembering the girl we’ve lost while looking forward to the new little lives that are on their way. 🌈🦙❤️

🐑✂️ Before & After!

Yesterday it was haircut day for our beautiful Valais Blacknose sheep… and what a difference! 😂

Unlike most of our other sheep, who are sheared once a year, our Valais are sheared twice a year, roughly six months apart.

Valais grow their gorgeous thick fleece incredibly quickly, so twice-yearly shearing helps prevent their wool becoming too long, heavy and matted, while keeping them clean and comfortable and allowing us to keep a close eye on their skin and body condition. 💚

They may be looking a little less fluffy today, but don’t worry — with Valais, it certainly doesn’t take long for those curls to grow back! 🐑🥰

Which look do you prefer… before or after? 👇
