Chippenham Community Hub The Hub is by the community for the community. Finding solutions. We are an independent Charity and rely on funding to support the Community needs.

We always look for support and welcome sponsorship too. We provide primarily signposting to resolve any problems whereby people need to know who to speak with to resolve their issue. We offer support, drop in advice, social inclusion for loneliness and educational courses too. As a Hub we provide facilities for Non-profit Organisations to attend for recreational and wellbeing. We have Chippenham o

rganisations attending weekly like Chippenham Knatty Knitters to give social aspects to the Community. We run courses from the Hub in Employability skills, Basic IT and Personal Finance. We have more coming in the New Year. We work with over 50 organisations we work with and some of these organisations set up regularly in the Hub for contact. We work with Rethink Mental Health, Swan Advocacy, Read-Easy, Fraud Prevention and Wiltshire Sight. We are here to support and operate for the public benefit, help deal with poverty and aid social inclusion. Please pop in for a chat and more information.

As you know, the Community Hub is independent with day to day existence dependent on some great grants and donations.
We don't always shout out about what we do in Chippenham but with a great small team of staff, volunteers and trustees we basically respond to anything that comes through our door that needs our help and assisistance.

From 1st November we will only be accepting prescription requests via the NHSApp or by SystmOnline.

This means we will be able to issue prescriptions to you more quickly and safely when they are requested.

From November you will no longer be able to call us to order your prescription.
This change is happening at all five local surgeries.

Using the NHSApp means you can order your prescription at whatever time of day or night that suits you and it has lots of other benefits such as;

Despite the word 'app' you can access the NHSApp on a computer. We will also be providing a way to order via the NHSApp or SytmOnline here at the surgery using our ordering laptop. Staff will be able to assist you should you have any difficulty.

Are you eligible for a ยฃ150 discount off your energy bills this winter?
Households receiving certain means-tested benefits, such as Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Housing Benefit, income-related employment and support allowance could be eligible for the discount.
Residents in receipt of any of these benefits will need to make sure they are named on their electricity account by 23rd August 2026 to receive the discount automatically.
If you have recently moved home or use a pre-payment meter, check with your energy provider that your energy account is registered in your name before the deadline.

Calling all spider-people and little monkeys, Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team are bringing their 7m high mobile climbing wall to Lacock from Monday 17 to Wednesday 19 August.

No need to book and included in the cost of admission (although there may be a short wait for your turn, this event is always popular!).
