We'll be proposing a resolution to reduce the number of Trustees needed for form a quorum at Board meetings from 5 to 3. We currently have only the minimum number of Trustees and really need more. We'd love more people to join us, so please email us on [email protected] to find out more.

Ullapool Village Hall – NOTICE of Annual General Meeting

The AGM will take place in the Hall on Monday 28 September 2026, at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Village Hall is a vital part of the Ullapool community, hosting regular events such as the Toddlers Group, Indoor Bowling, Pipe Band, Butchers, Solicitor, Physio, Ear Wax Removal, Yoga and Craft Markets. It’s also available to hire for one-off events and special occasions.

We have several exciting initiatives underway at the moment, including refurbishment projects and converting to green energy, so would like as many people as possible to come along to hear what’s happening and to have your say.

We are also very much in need of additional Trustees to join us, so if you have a little bit of time to commit (no more than one meeting a month) please email us at [email protected] to indicate an interest.

We also encourage everyone to join the Village Hall Association to have a say in how the hall is managed and to vote for Trustees. Membership is free and open to anyone over 18 residing in the Lochbroom Community Council area. There are no obligations, but it gives you voting rights at the AGM!

13th and 14th November Friday 1pm-7pm Sat 10am-3pm £30 for the weekend

Xmas Lights Switch on with Santa on Friday only.
27th and 28th November Friday 3pm-8pm and Saturday 10-3pm £30 for the weekend

Still time to apply for this….

We are looking for a cleaner for the Village Hall.
We are looking for someone to do one shift of 3 hours each week, co-ordinating with the cleaner covering the other shift, and working at times when the hall is empty – this may be weekend / evening. There is some flexibility to suit the jobholder.
Extra hours may be required before and after events, spring-cleaning etc.
The applicant would liaise with the Caretaker and Bookings Manager.
Pay is above the UK National Living Wage.
