Community Land Outer Hebrides are hoping to run a Deer Stalking Certificate (DS1) course before the end of the year. It will probably be held in Tarbert. The Mangersta Shieling is still available for booking for overnight stays. It was rebuilt by local volunteers a few years ago and can be booked online via Uig Development Trust. With a mountain bothy level of comfort (i.e. camping mats and sleeping bags essential) it makes a great base camp for hardy walkers in the Uig Hills 🥾🥾
