🎉 Quiz Night is Coming! 🎉

Hi everyone! It’s officially quiz month, and we can’t wait to see you all there!

📅 Friday 24th April 2026
🕡 6:30pm arrival, quiz starts at 7pm sharp

Please help us spread the word far and wide—invite your friends, family, and anyone who loves a fun night out.

Please note- children of all ages are more than welcome this is a family friendly event🥰

How lovely to see our little Blairmains friends out and about. 🐴❤️

What a busy few days our adorable hooligans have had. As always they have been absolute stars and shown off how well they can behave. 😂

We started by supporting a community event ran by in Motherwell, then a short trip down to Douglasview Nursing Home, in Hamilton where we visited our old friends. Then today we were back in Carnbroe Community Action for Residents Sc054061 giving lots of cuddles.

Buttons and Fudge are true ambassadors for Ponies Help Children, bringing love and patience everywhere we go.

A huge thank you to Ann McKenna for the use of her horse box to allow us to continue to serve our communities whilst we raise funds for our own box.

Ponies Help Children is a registered charity rescuing ponies and helping to support the community through equine therapy.
As our charity continues to grow, so does our need for amazing volunteers like you!

Here’s what we offer:
🐴 Morning and evening tasks caring for our ponies weekday and weekends available.
🐴 Opportunities to be a part of our therapy sessions with the clients (if you’d like to get involved)
🐴Training opportunities such as first aid to equip you in life or to enhance volunteering with us.

No experience? No problem!
We provide full training, so all you need to bring is yourself.
There’s no pressure to commit on the day—just come along to learn more and see if it’s right for you.

Please note- If this date and time does not suit do not worry, give us a message and make a private arrangement.

Requirements:
✔️ Must be 16+
✔️ Reliable transport as there is no public- travel expenses are offered.

EXCITING NEW PROJECT AT PHC

As we started our block 3 sessions last week, we also started our data collection for our brand new research project. Our team leader, Calum, is working in conjunction with Dr Line Caes from the University of Stirling and Dr Marie Fillion from Brain Gears Psychological Services.

The research project is looking to advance the current evidence on Equine Assisted Therapy, specifically looking at the behavioural and emotional changes our sessions have.

Brilliant at Blairmains!
Oh my goodness what an incredible achievement Calum. Running 10 miles every day for 10 days; the equivalent of almost 4 marathons 🏃🏻‍♂️
Thank you to you and your dad for taking on and completing this amazing challenge and raising a fantastic amount for Ponies Help Children. We are all so very proud of you 👏🏻

It was so nice to welcome Calum, Wayne and Sophie to PHC Uddingston this morning to start their run on the penultimate day of this incredible challenge. Very well done everyone.
Good luck tomorrow for your final run.
Truly inspirational and we are so proud to be a part of it all 🐴❤️

Penultimate run tomorrow leaving from PHC Uddingston at 12.30pm. We’ll be there to see Calum off. Please join us if you can.
