❗️❗️WE HAVE AN ANNOUNCMENT❗️❗️
We at the community Hwb here in Tywyn have had many happy months serving and helping the community around us since June 2024. In 2025 alone we saw 4,300 people come through our doors for Hub specific events, not including all the other many other events supported and aided by the Hub and Church, this includes over 300 summer lunches, 200 warm meals and 130 period products to name but a few.
However we need to update you with the news that there are some changes upcoming due to loss of funding. From 1st April 2026 we will no longer be the official community Hub for Tywyn and the Dysynni Valley and instead will revert back to being what the Church has been long before that; doing what we can to support the community and shining the light of Christ to those around us.
The Drop in will continue without any changes at all, have no fear, Kelly and her amazing crew are going no where, so please continue to join us each Friday 10am till 12 noon and don’t forget the monthly free soup lunch.
However, there will be changes to our open spaces and 1-1 support. For open spaces we say please watch this space, we will have updates in due course. For 1-1 support please contact the Library or other support organisations in the area such as Mid-Advice Wales.
Please make sure you follow our other page for updates at Tywyn Baptist Church and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. There are a load of amazing community resources alongside us which are also always there, from the Library and Cinema to St Cadfans Welcome Wednesdays and Advent to name but a few.
