Another happy local rider! 🎉

Lynette trialled one of our Raleigh e-bikes for a month, and she liked it so much that she decided to buy one! We are currently updating our fleet with brand-new e-bikes, which means we are selling off our well-maintained, regularly serviced models. 🚲✨

** Private sale of used eBikes ** One of our team is selling their low-mileage personal twin eBikes! Oxygen S-Cross CB (cross bar) Mark II hybrid ebikes with 36V 250W high torque motor, with the biggest available 16ah battery with a range of up to 70 miles. 24 speed drive train, powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. Both bikes have been professionally serviced and had new cassette and chain within the last 50 miles. Good for road riding and light off-road use on gravel tracks or forest roads. Bike A has done 1,564 miles, Bike B has done 1,628. Costing £1700 new for this spec, you can grab one of these for £1100. Or both! eBike being used for mountain rescue in Cumbria 🚵‍♀️

Callout Date: 26/05/2026
Callout Time: 1:07 pm
Agencies Involved: Keswick MRT, GNAAS

A callout came in reporting a 79 yr old female was suffering with chest pains whilst out fell walking. Due to the potential seriousness of the incident assistance was requested from Helimed 58, which attended and landed above the casualty site. The medics were dropped off and made their way down to the casualty. Keswick team deployed to Stoneycroft Beck car park. One team member made his way quickly up on an e-bike with immediate medical care equipment, two remained at the car park to be uplifted with a stretcher by H58, other team members approached the location on foot. The casualty was treated on site by the Helimed crew and was then stretchered down to the helicopter. She was flown to Carlisle hospital for further assesment and treatment.
