🚐 We're Hiring - Part Time Driver Required 🚐

Together We Grow Support Ltd is expanding its transport routes, and we are looking for a friendly, reliable and caring driver to join our team.

Hours:

• Approximately 8–12 hours per week
• Two days per week
• Morning shift: 8:00am–10:00am
• Afternoon shift: 3:00pm–5:00pm
• Additional days may be available to provide relief cover and will be discussed with the successful applicant

The role involves safely transporting adults with additional support needs to and from our day service. It is a highly rewarding position and would be particularly suited to someone with previous experience in care, support work, community transport or a similar environment.

We are looking for someone who is patient, approachable, dependable and able to help our passengers feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey.

🏊‍♂️ WOW — HE ABSOLUTELY SMASHED IT! 🏊‍♂️

Andrew took on his sponsored swim yesterday and completed all four lengths of Turriff Swimming Pool!

We had the pool booked for an hour to ensure Andrew had plenty of time. We explained that there was absolutely no hurry and encouraged him to take everything at his own pace.

Well… clearly Andrew had other ideas! 😂

Like a fish in water, he completed all four lengths in just 10 minutes! We were completely blown away by him.

As you can see, Andrew had a brilliant time and told us how much he misses being in the pool. We are incredibly proud of him and so grateful for everything he has done to support TWGS and our new unit.

We also hope you appreciate the fantastic swimming outfit Hayley supplied for the occasion. Andrew absolutely loved it! 🐟😂

🏊‍♂️ Andrew’s Sponsored Swim is Just One Week Away! 🏊‍♂️

We cannot wait to cheer Andrew on as he takes on four lengths of Turriff Swimming Pool!

Andrew has always been a hands-on guy at TWGS and, when given the choice, he particularly enjoys the skills and development side of what we do. He is incredibly excited about our new unit and cannot wait to see how everything will be set up.

We asked Andrew what he would like the money from his sponsored swim to go towards. After chatting about what the team will need in the new unit, we explained that one of our first planned purchases is a mitre saw. Andrew immediately decided that this is what he would like his fundraising to help us buy.

We are incredibly grateful for what Andrew is doing for TWGS and very proud of him. 💙

🏊‍♂️ ANDREW'S TAKING ON A CHALLENGE FOR TWGS! 💙

We have a very special fundraiser coming up at Together We Grow Support!

On Wednesday 16th September, Andrew will be taking to the water at Turriff Swimming Pool with a goal of completing 4 sponsored lengths to raise money for TWGS. 💪

And there's a brilliant story behind this one...

Andrew lives with Parkinson's, but in his younger days he was no stranger to the swimming pool — he actually swam as part of para swimming teams! 🏊‍♂️

Now he's getting back in the water and taking on another challenge, this time to raise money to help us enhance our new TWGS unit and create even more opportunities for the people we support.

We are incredibly excited to see Andrew take this on and we'll all be right behind him on the day! 🙌

Ian at Cycling Without Age Scotland - Turriff has done it again!!

Literally miles of smiles! Ian took our look out for another blast around the den yesterday afternoon. As you can see from the pictures everybody had a great time. They all loved it and are looking forward to the next venture out with him. Hayley and Neil were even lucky enough to get a lift back up to the high street.

🧡🖤 WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOME NEW FACES! 🖤🧡

There are some BIG things happening at Together We Grow Support and we think now is the perfect time to welcome some new people into our growing family!

🔑 We're getting the keys to our brand-new unit in Cuminestown!

This new space will allow us to massively expand the skills and development side of Together We Grow, giving the people we support the chance to get stuck into practical, meaningful projects including:

♻️ Can recycling
🪑 Furniture upcycling
🐶 Bagging dog biscuits
🐦 Bagging bird feed
🪚 Woodworking & practical skills
🌱 Our ongoing garden project at Delgaty Castle

And that's only one part of what we do!

Our Turriff centre focuses on building confidence, friendships and independence through social activities, crafting, cooking, games and developing everyday assisted-living and life skills.

The idea is simple — not everyone enjoys the same things.

Some people love being creative. Some want to get their hands dirty. Some want to learn practical skills. Some simply want somewhere they feel comfortable, make friends and become more confident.

We want to give people the opportunity to find what works for them. 🧡

🚐 And don't let distance put you off!

Our transport network stretches as far south as Inverurie and as far north as Fraserburgh, helping make Together We Grow accessible to people across a large part of Aberdeenshire.
