We have a brilliant opportunity for a Residential Property Lawyer to join our growing and very busy team! The role will involve dealing with a varied caseload of all types of property throughout the region and beyond.

The position is primarily located in Tunbridge Wells but offers flexibility for hybrid working.

The role:
• Experience across all aspects of property work, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Can handle more complex leasehold matters involving managing agents, freeholders and third-party enquiries
• Able to conduct title investigation, raise and respond to enquiries, review search results and advise clients on risk
• Draft and review contracts, TR1 and TP1 transfer deeds, declarations of trust and other property documents
• Act for mortgage lenders in line with UK Finance Lender Handbook requirements
• Prepare and submit SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
• CQS awareness trained
The candidate:
• The successful candidate will, ideally, be 3-5 year PQE and a specialist in residential conveyancing
• Excellent knowledge of property law with the ability to manage files independently
• Deliver excellent client care
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other members of the team
