With now open, we’ve revamped our Tunbridge Wells charity shop in the - over the next few weeks you’ll find it crammed full of retro and preloved goodies (less of a boutique, more of a thrifting treasure hunt!). As always you can buy the most needed survival items in store - which right now are nappies and infant formula for Gaza.

If you can’t make it down to us in store, you have until tonight to buy these items via our website (link in bio) for the money to get to where it needs to be before Christmas.

Oh, and don’t miss out on the TV playing classic films on VHS in the window too!

We’re over the moon to share that our friends at Tonbridge Calling (a much-loved local festival) that sadly closed this year - chose to give Refugease some of their final funds 💛

Those funds have brought pure joy to the children at our Education Centre in Zaatari Camp, on the Syrian border in Jordan - where our incredible teachers support 125 children every day.

Thanks to this gift, the kids are now bursting with excitement over their brand-new arts and crafts supplies - paints, brushes, paper, and colour everywhere! 🖍️🎨✨

Huge gratitude also to our amazing partners:

💚 – for their continued funding of our longest-standing project and partnership.

💙 – for running the centre every day with such dedication.

🎨 👋 Calling all decorators! If you and your colleagues fancy volunteering some days to spruce up the school in Jordan, we would be interested to hear from you! It's looking rather tired due to our limited funds. You would have to fund the flights, but we'd sort your accomodation!

It's only been eight years since we've seen the wonderful Angus from our partners at Herts For Refugees!

We just dropped off a delivery of 25+ Sleep Pods that you purchased directly from the Aid Shop.

The reality is that rough-sleeping refugees die with tragic regularity, and many of these deaths are a result of hypothermia and exposure to extreme weather conditions. A "Sleep Pod" is a one-person shelter that can offer life-saving protection from the elements.

Thank you for continuining to make these life-saving purchases! You guys are the best!

One very tired but dedicated man takes your reusable period pads and pants to Sámos, Greece!

Already late for the flight, Valentina had a tearful panic attack when the airline had no record of us booking the cargo (there are several suitcases out of shot on the conveyor belt filled with 1000s of reusable Hey Girls pads and pants) - but the wonderful staff at TUI (shout-out to Anna! Yoohoo!) put it all through for us at NO CHARGE with minutes to spare. Just, woah. We’ll be sharing pics of the distribution tonight.

It’s official- every girl and woman of menstruating age in all of Sámos refugee camp served by Just Action NGO, is no longer in period poverty.

We are so, so grateful for your repeated tangible support- we will continue to ensure your donated funds go to the cause!
