Adult ski courses
We don't only run activities for kids. Our ski courses are a great way to learn all the essential skills you'll need on a skiing holiday.
By learning before you go, you'll be able to start exploring your resort from the first day and you'll move away from the beginner slopes sooner.
Our one-day courses run 9.30am to 4.30pm - they start on our nursery slope to build confidence as you learn the basic skills. Afternoons are on our main slope where you'll be able to practice your snowploughs and move towards steering.
The days are £135 and include all equipment. Both of our slopes have button lifts as well as lubrication systems to give the best possible experience.
The courses are for over 14s, and are running on Saturdays 28 November, 12 December and 2 January.

In the winter months we run practice sessions so skiers can warm up their legs before a trip away.
Open Practice on Sundays and Coffee Club on Thursdays are sessions for people age 8+ who can already ski or snowboard.
Coffee Club is also a social - skiing stops for coffee and a chat mid-morning.
Open Practice is a pay-by-the-hour coached session on Sunday afternoons.
Skiers need to be able to control their speed and direction, and use the tow lift to attend theses sessions - if you're not at that level yet, please book a group or private lesson. All sessions include ski or snowboard equipment.

These sessions are for people who can already ski.

We've got lots of sledging birthday parties added in December.
They cost £165 for 40 minutes of sledging for up to 12 kids (age 5+) on your own slope with your own instructor.
We also include the free use of a room for an hour afterwards so you can bring party food to celebrate, once everyone's worked up an appetite.
These are really popular parties - kids running around in the fresh air to burn off all that energy before you fill them with cake and hand them back to their parents!

FESTIVE SLEDGING
Our Festive Sledge sessions are becoming a tradition for lots of local people. They are a great way to meet up with friends or to burn off some of those mince pies in the fresh air.
We've sold out every year so this year we have added an extra day in the holidays.
Dates: 22, 23, 24, 30, 31 December, 10am to 6pm
Prices for 30 minutes of slope time: £50 for up to six people, £70 for 6-12 people.

HALF TERM SKI COURSES

It's that time of year again...

Bowles' Festive Family Sledging sessions are now available to book.

After years of sell-outs we're adding another day this year, so we're running sessions on 22, 23, 24, 30 and 31 December.

They are the ideal way to get everyone out of the house, burning off energy and mince pies in the fresh air. AND, you get to support our work as a charity for young people in our area.

Our October half term skiing courses are now available to book.

We have full day, intensive courses, two-parters, and if your kids want to take their skiing up a notch after a beginners' course we have a Development day at the end of the week.

These courses are ideal for 8-15 year olds going away with their school or family over the coming winter - we teach all about the gear and introduce the basic skills all skiers need to keep safe and set a good foundation for the future.
