2026 TLA VALENTINE’S DISCO🩷🪩
Thanks to those who have kindly volunteered to help staff this event, we gladly bring you our annual Valentine’s Disco!
Thursday 12th February, timings are as seen on the poster below.
£2 per child - payable via the school office
HOWEVER
We are returning the pay it forward scheme from last time so that no child misses out on the fun. All children are welcome and no child will be turned away🩷
For this to work and continue on for future discos, we call on the TLA community to pay it forward. Anyone who is able to pay their child’s fee is invited to donate whatever amount you can give to cover another child’s snack & drink. The amount you pay forward is up to your discretion, nothing is too little.
Children are encouraged to wear their own clothing but it is not compulsory. 👕 👗 ✨

URGENT CALL OUT FOR VOLUNTEERS!
If we wish to go forward with our annual Valentine’s Disco (12/2/26) we need to have some volunteers to man the event and set up. Please drop a comment if you can help. The disco happening is entirely reliant on volunteers and will not be able to go forth without your help.

Wondering what you can find and where to find it? Here’s a guide on what we have to offer for our Christmas Fair this Friday.🎄🎁
First you’re greeted by our very own food court with our much loved friends Xander’s Diner and new addition, coffee and brownie truck, Kernow Fornya.
Come into the warm and join our selection of stall holders in the Main Hall. You’ll find a large selection of homemade goods, things to play with and things to eat and gift! This includes our bountiful raffle.
The magic continues into the Year 6 classroom & the hallway where you’ll find the rest of our fantastic stall holders & FOTLA stalls. We also have real reindeer just off the hallway and if you have a booking to see Santa in his Grotto you’ll be transported to the North Pole when you enter our Sensory Room! And don’t worry, if any of this seems confusing, FOTLA volunteers or Santa’s Elves will be there to help you.✨

FOTLA MEETING MINUTES 14/11/25✨
This meeting was to discuss the Christmas Fair.
- Santa to come into school for younger years children, like last time & older children are to have reservable slots during the Christmas Fair to visit the Grotto, which will now be in the new Sensory Room.
- A placement plan for stallholders will be drawn up by Jenny Fox (Chair). This is to avoid confusion on the day. There will be named paper put down in situ for stall holders to easily see.
- Bric a Brac to be accepted from 24TH November until 1st December at the office, with new stipulations. There is to be no broken toys or unsellable items that volunteers have to sift through and throw out, only new and preloved items in good, usable condition.
- Raffle prizes to be applied for. Suggested places to ask are St Michael’s Spa, Pottery Studios & good winter gifting prizes. Confirmed donations of unused LEGO sets, toys, jewellery and Sip & Paint voucher. All stall holders have been asked to donate a prize also.
- FOTLA volunteers shall meet on the 2nd of December to piece together hampers from donated prizes & sort through bric a brac - ALL volunteers welcome
- We foresee 5 school stalls and a Grotto that need manning and estimate a minimum of 6 volunteers needed
- Iona (Social Media Rep & Secretary) to make an infographic post about Bric a Brac being only usable goods and that volunteers for the Fair needed and make an additional side to the Christmas flyer dictating what we will have on show
- Flyers to be posted into local houses and posters into places nearby such as County Arms, Sainsbury’s, Malabar Community Centre, All Saints Church, Malabar Shops, Food Warehouse (and around school) & flyers sent home into school bags with each child

All in attendance were Tracey, Kat, Jenny, Pamela & Iona
