What a day! 🔴

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved in our 🔴Red4Research Day last week – the energy and support across the the site at Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro and out in the community was incredible.

From the MRU and Trelawny entrance stands to spreading the word on the buses, it was brilliant to see so many people coming together to celebrate research.

Special thanks to our amazing research volunteers and all the staff who wore red and supported activities throughout the day – you made it happen!

We are shining a spotlight on our Mobile Research Unit for Day 🔴

Come and see the MRU near the Trelawny Entrance at Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust, where we’ll be offering blood pressure and BMI health checks as well as chatting all things research.

It’s a great chance to find out more, ask questions and see how research can be visible, accessible and relevant to everyone.

First, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated cake and/or donated funds to our Charity Fundraiser on Wednesday. The response of staff/members of the public who attended our event was fantastic, it was great to see so many people and to have a catch up.

We are delighted to announce that the event raised just over £110 which goes directly to our Research Charity!

🎉Brew for Breakthroughs🎉

We invite you to join us on Wednesday 10th June for our 'Brew for Breakthroughs' charity cake & coffee event!

This relaxed fundraising event aims to celebrate the fantastic research happening across Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly which is providing better health outcomes for our Cornish population.

Donations of shop bought cakes are welcome, or just come along and treat yourself to something sweet whilst helping to raise funds for our Cornwall Research Charity.

For every donation, you will receive a raffle ticket, with a chance to win one of 5 goodies bags!

The event will take place between 1-2.30pm, in Room G09, Ground Floor, The Knowledge Spa, Rpyal Cornwall Hospital, Truro.

Cash will be accepted or card payments through our Just Giving QR code.
