Truro Foodbank

A massive thank you to The Miners Arms for hosting a quiz for Truro Foodbank, the amazing staff and customers took part in the quiz, a raffle and an auction donating a whopping £530.68 to the foodbank.

What a really fun way to raise awareness and funds. The money will help us on the journey to hopefully alleviate food poverty in Cornwall!

On Saturday 26 September Cornish folk duo Meles Lutra launched their new album "Seven Stones" at a concert at St Kea Church. It was a wonderful evening and £448 was raised in aid of Truro Foodbank to support local families in crisis.
💚We are so grateful to everyone involved in putting on the concert and to everyone who came along and donated to us. We have seen a drop in donations of food this year and need to purchase food every week.💚

💚💚 We're so grateful to everyone who donated to the Truro Waitrose & Partners Food Drive last week. The 219kg of groceries donated (which equates to 365 meals) will make a real difference to the people of Truro and the surrounding area who are struggling to afford the essentials. We also collected £220 which will go towards purchasing food.
Huge thanks to Michael and all the Waitrose & Partners staff, our staff and volunteers and to all you lovely shoppers. 💚💚
