Could you become a West Penwith Weekend Pony Checker Volunteer?

Volunteer pony checkers help the rangers check ponies grazing on National Trust land in West Cornwall for conservation purposes, on a regular basis.

Are you passionate about breastfeeding? Would you like to support other families within your community? The Breastfeeding Peer Support team are looking for volunteers!

Applications are open until 𝟗 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫
Training will start Tuesday 12 January 2027 and run every week for 6 weeks.

Volunteers provide a warm welcome to all visitors offering help with teas/coffee, setting up the centre for the day activities, meeting and greeting and chatting with the attendees.

If you can kindly commit to one Friday a week or month, from 10:30am – 1pm. Please get in touch, they would love to hear from you.

Amazing news! 🎉👇

The Community Gateway and Community Hub Network has been shortlisted for both Excellence in Narrowing the Health Inequalities Gap and Neighbourhood and Community Care Innovation of the Year.

The programme brings together NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board, Volunteer Cornwall, Age UK Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum and Cornwall Council, more than 50 community hubs and wider local voluntary and community sector organisations and social care partners.

Volunteer with Riding for the Disabled
Riding for the Disabled at Chiverton are looking for volunteers to join them in supporting people with disabilities and the horses.

"Our incredible volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. With their dedication and passion, they help make life-changing experiences possible for thousands of participants every year."

You can volunteer in mornings or afternoons, or for a full day:
• 9am - 12 on Mondays and Thursdays
• 12.15 - 4pm on a Monday
• 12.15 - 3pm on a Thursday

Gain new skills and train up to become a Carriage Driving Coach while teaching others.
• No experience needed as onsite training will be provided.
• Some people just do mornings or just afternoons and some do all day - it’s quite flexible.
