Devoran Village Hall

Devoran Village Hall Devoran Village Hall is a Charity run by volunteers, with no external funding. In 2015 we received some much needed funding for it refurbishment.

Devoran Village Hall was originally constructed by the Redruth and Chasewater Railway Company as workshop to support their new steam railway. Devoran Village Hall is a detached building at the southern edge of the centre of Devoran. The English Heritage listing entry for the building provides the following location Grid Reference: SW7942839044. For many years, the hall has been at the heart of the

community – providing a space for local cubs and societies, parties, music, markets and community events. The committee have worked tirelessly to raise money and organise a facelift to the building which was in desperate need to repair. We are delighted that some of the work is now complete and we look forward to the community enjoying the space for many years to come, while fund raising continues to further improve the facilities. The bench and GWR 200 interpretation board outside the Hall are now accessible to walkers with wheel and the area will not become slippery in wet weather. This was part funded by a Feock Parish Council small grant and a donation from the late Mr Geoffrey Burgess. The Hall hopes this will be of benefit to the whole community.
