🆓 FREE TO A GOOD HOME - COLLECTION FROM PORTSCATHO 🆓

We have two freezers available through the Portscatho & Gerrans Larder:
❄️ Large chest freezer
❄️ Small under-counter freezer with 4 drawers

Both are in working order and available for collection from Portscatho.
These would be ideal for a family, someone setting up home, or anyone needing extra freezer space.
Please comment below or send us a message if you're interested. Collection will be on a first come, first served basis.

💚 Thank You from Portscatho & Gerrans Larder! 💚

What a wonderful Big Lunch! Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, we raised £131 to support the work of the Portscatho & Gerrans Larder.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, cooked, volunteered and helped make the event such a success.

The unit is in good used condition and ready for a new home.

🍎💙 As National Volunteer week is drawing to a close, The Larder will be hosting a mini raffle on Sunday at their Big Lunch event.

🌞 As you might know, Gemma, Shona and Kelly offer their time and efforts on a voluntary basis to help over 30 families and individuals across the Roseland throughout the year. Monies raised during the raffle will go towards our Summer Holiday Help scheme, to help local families with the cost of the Summer Holidays. Especially those reliant on their children being fed and looked after during school time.

We have kindly been offered an older TV which is free to anyone who may need it.

It is not a smart TV, but it works fine and has an HDMI port. The previous owner used it with a Google Chromecast, which allowed access to apps such as Netflix, YouTube and other streaming services.

It may be really useful for someone who needs a spare TV, a TV for a bedroom, or someone setting up a home.

If you, or someone you know through The Larder, would like it, please send us a message and we can help put you in touch.

🥗 The Big Lunch with Gerrans & Portscatho Larder 🎉

The forecast might be soggy, but the hall will be warm, the food will be lovely, and the welcome will be even better!

Join us on Sunday 7th June, 12pm–2pm at Gerrans Memorial Hall for a friendly afternoon of food, friendship and community.

We’re delighted to say there will be delicious food from Lucie at Meaz , and gelato from Scatho’s, but please feel free to bring a dish to share or an individual packed lunch. There will also be arts and crafts from Kelly at DreamWeaver Parties,

We’re also really excited that Gerrans & Portscatho Larder will be featured over the weekend on Greatest Hits Radio (South & West) and Cornwall’s Rewind Radio, talking about the work of The Larder, the importance of community support, and how local people, businesses and volunteers are helping to make a real difference.

We’ll be accepting donations for The Larder on the day, so come along, bring the family, enjoy some lovely food and help us celebrate what our community does best.

The Big Lunch with Gerrans & Portscatho Larder 🎉

We’d love you to join us on Sunday 7th June, 12pm–2pm at Gerrans Memorial Hall, for an afternoon of food, friendship and community.

We’re very lucky to have delicious food and gelato from Scatho’s plus lovely arts and crafts with DreamWeaver Parties, so there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.

A hot dish will be provided, but please feel free to bring a dish to share or an individual packed lunch. We’ll also be accepting donations for The Larder on the day.
