uch as Table Tennis and Snooker then for a reasonable membership of £20 per year (£10 for juniors and OAP’s) allows you to use the facilities from 7pm to 10:30pm daily, other times can be arranged by appointment. The People’s Palace, one of Truro's oldest social enterprises, was started in 1906 when it was a big part of the entertainment scene and support network for Truro and surrounding areas. Through the years historically doing something is not just about doing something because you like it, it’s also about who you meet when you are there. You never know who or how, maybe it’s just a friend or its someone who you connect with, or you can assist or they can assist you. The People’s Palace is the place where you can achieve that. The People’s Palace Table Tennis teams take part in the West Cornwall Table Tennis League and there are four teams that play at levels; Premier, First Division and Second Division. The People’s Palace A team play in the Premier League, People’s Palace B and C are in First Division and People’s Palace D are in the Second Division. The teams can meet weekly or arrange one to one practice at other times. Snooker is represented by People’s Palace A and play in the Perranporth and District league. People can join the teams at any time or form their own teams to take part for People’s Palace
