At 70 years young, Martin Searle is taking on the incredible Pedal4Patients cycling challenge in support of the RCHT Charity, in loving memory of his wife Nicky, who sadly passed away in February 2025 after a brave fight with breast cancer.

As part of his fundraising, Martin has organised a special charity concert with the North Coast Choir, which he joined earlier this year.
You are invited to an uplifting evening of music featuring favourites from across the decades, including The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Oasis, Coldplay, U2 and more!

Every ticket helps support patients, families and staff across our hospitals, while honouring Nicky’s memory in such a meaningful way.

Martin is training hard to cycle 60 miles a day for three days, tackling an impressive 12,000 feet of climbing along the way. We’ll also pop a link in the comments if you’d like to support Martin’s fundraising directly.

We would like to thank Charlotte Randall and Ebony Hovell, who organised a fantastic Charity Bingo Night in support of the RCHT Charity's Diabetic and Endocrine fund.

The evening was a brilliant success, complete with a wonderful raffle, and together they raised an amazing £770.58.

The Weight Management and Bariatric dietitians shared:
“Charlotte and Ebony, thank you so much for organising the charity bingo event. It sounds like you had a fantastic time, and your hard work is truly appreciated. Well done on such a wonderful event.”

What a fantastic afternoon we had in Falmouth Cornwall UK as the Sea Shanty Festival gets underway!

We were joined by superstar RCHT volunteer Jenny on our stand outside Pebble Cornwall - thanks to owner Zoe. We were talking all things Pink Wig and we saw so many Pink Wig Pals! Fred Thomas aka 'Betty' Southwest Bars and Events Falmouth Cornwall UKCoast Medic and Falmouth Marine Band Cornwall

The town was alive with the sound of shanties and so many happy smiling faces... when can we go back?!
