The Cornwall Community Flood Forum is a community-led initiative committed to supporting communities, households and businesses at risk of flooding. We are a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with a membership that includes local councils, community groups and individuals with an active involvement in flood risk management. We are here to promote partnership working within flood risk management
and support communities before, during and after flooding. The Cornwall Community Flood Forum was established as a Members Association following widespread flooding throughout mid Cornwall on the 17th of November 2010 when more than 300 households and businesses were affected. We gained charitable status on 19 April 2016 (Charity No:1166604). The activities of the Forum are guided by a Board of Trustees that consists of individuals who possess either skills in flood risk management or an enthusiasm to make a difference locally. Board Meetings are also attended by representatives from Cornwall's flood 'Risk Management Authorities'; Cornwall Council, the Environment Agency, South West Water.
