To end the year on a sad note, we have to say goodbye to our amazing Chair Em McClary and our amazing treasurer Ginny Hosken as they step down from their roles. They'll still be involved and you'll still see them from time to time helping out with events but they've decided it's time to step down. We are grateful for all the work they have put in over the years and for keeping FOSS running as smoothly as it has!

Time has come for new leaders so please welcome Amy Vincent as Chair, Lara Scott as Treasurer and Zoe Louise as Secretary. We have new social media marketing masters too so watch this space for new and exciting posts!

Whilst everyone is anticipating whether England will win later, I’m here to announce our logo competition winners.

We had some wonderful entries. Thanks so much to everyone who did one, can see you have all worked hard.

Our final top 3 are shown below and their prizes are being delivered to them this afternoon.

It’s wonderful being able to bring these sort of events to the school through our fundraising.

Lots more fun things planned for next year.

Hope everyone enjoyed today’s sports day with the KS2 children.

Just a reminder that FOSS will have drinks on sale tomorrow during the KS1 & Early years sports day too.

We hope to see many of you then.

Tomorrow we will be hosting our final uniform swap of the year.

Please bring any uniform you’re ready to part with and we will get it sorted out.

Then please feel free to take any uniform you may need for the next academic year.

Coming to you from FOSS are some yummy refreshments whilst you watch your children’s sports days next week!

So on Monday and Tuesday for the ks2 & ks1 sports days, please remember to bring some money with you.

All proceeds go towards planning more trips and fun activities to enrich all of our children’s education.

A lovely opportunity to share some of your favourite stories with your children!

📚 Summer Storytime – Thursday 9th July 📚

📖 Parents and carers are warmly invited to join us at 2:55pm for a special Summer Storytime session, sharing a story with your child/children in their classroom.

☀️ With the hot weather expected, we will be staying indoors for this event to ensure everyone remains comfortable.

🚪Please come in via Main Reception and make your way down to your child’s classroom.

👫 Siblings are very welcome to join together, so families can enjoy the session as one.

Reading together helps nurture a love of books, sparks imagination, and creates wonderful memories. We look forward to welcoming you for an session of storytelling and shared reading enjoyment.
