We are extremely grateful to Ralph Pengelly of Meadowside Nursery who yesterday donated his time and machinery to trimming our two long internal hedges.

CARNON DOWNS FILM CLUB
Our film club season begins again on Friday 25th September at Carnon Downs Village Hall with a showing of Mrs. Henderson presents, starring Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins. The film is a comedy/drama based on the true story of the Windmill Theatre in London.
Doors open at 6:30 for free refreshments and the film starts at 7:30
Everyone welcome, no membership required, just £4 on the door to cover hall hire.
As always, any profits made during our winter season will be donated to local charitable organisations.
Film night is normally the third Friday of the month from September through to May, except December, this month's film night is later in the month because of other commitments of the volunteers who run the club.
See you there

Well here we are, into another busy Autumn! Good to see all the bookings. Remember to USE your Hall! It’s their for you, as The Carnon Downs Community, and can only carry on if you fully support it by attending functions and events, put on by the community, booking for personal and professional use and, very important, volunteering, in any way, to help run it! The hall is run solely by volunteers and is always looking for more. The Committee, that run it, changes regularly so needs new volunteers, too. Looking forward to seeing you all over the coming months! 😀
