Following recent signing of the Armed Forces Covenant and our collaboration with .destinyproject, we wanted to highlight our support of Andrew Stevenson, CEO and John Walter Tonner, AIoL, CertCIH, Deputy CEO of The Destiny Project as respected Veterans.

John served in the military for 10 years which included several overseas deployments, he was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), resulting in a medical discharge in 2022. John said ‘During a period of intense isolation and experiencing suicidal thoughts, I found solace in The Destiny Project and Destiny United, a football team with a clear mission to promote mental health awareness and support through sport. Joining this team had a transformative impact on me, offering a sense of belonging and significantly improving my self-esteem.

Currently, as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of The Destiny Project, I am dedicated to supporting individuals who are confronted with mental health issues, poverty, and barriers to education. The kind sponsorship from the Charles Reynolds Foundation has allowed us to equip Destiny United with their new game day and training kits without TDP diverting crucial funds from the essential resources required by our members and volunteers. This generous contribution has been instrumental to the advancement of our objectives.’

📣We are proud to announce that CJ Medical have signed the Armed Forces Covenant!

By signing the Covenant, CJ Medical has committed to being an Armed Forces-friendly employer and to supporting those transitioning from military to civilian careers.

We are proud to have Veteran Steve Rome as an integral member of the CJ Medical Team, Steve served in the RAF Police for 4 years in the UK, Germany, Greenham Common and the Falklands.

🥳 A massive congratulations to the Team who have made history and become the first U13 and U15 champions of the Volksbank Cup! 🏆

The Charles Reynolds Foundation raised money to power their journey through Holland, Belgium and Germany, where the team stayed with their fellow football fanatics. The team had an absolute blast and won the tournament in both the U13 and U15 age groups for the first time ever! Here’s hoping this is the beginning of their winning streak 👏

Clean Cornwall - a non-profit working with various organisations within Cornwall and with the locals to keep our home clean. They recently met up with to see some of their ‘Blue Litter Project’ equiptment being put to use. The organisation allows th public to set up a litter picking event via the link in their bio so that everyone can help.

The Hugs Foundation is a registered equine rescue and mental well-being chairty in Bodmin, Cornwall helping both people and animals. They have rescued a total 221 horses and supported 813 children. Hugs also supposts health and wellbeing in children, the elderly, military, and veterans.

gather and share valuable information about things to do in to help make sure as many people as possible get to enjoy all Cornwall has to offer. The organisation performs site reviews and audits them so that places can improve their accessibility. They have also created a digital beach guide of Accessible beaches in Cornwall which we will grow.

This multicentre observational study will evaluate for national and international variation of inpatient management of haematuria, inform a consensus guideline for best practice and provide evidence to design an interventional study that can optimise haematuria management pathway.

The Charles Reynolds Foundation is proud to support his efforts and looks forward to the contributions this research will bring to the field.

The Wave Project began ten years ago on the beaches of Cornwall. Since then the project has expanded across the UK but Cornwall remains one of our busiest locations.Adaptive Surfing is delivered by specially trained surf coaches supported by wonderful trained volunteers.
