John is a writer and poet who lives in Norwich and researches and writes about subjects that interest him. He has previously written 'Norwich - A Love Story' about his adopted city and in the summer was poet in residence on Norwich market - you can find his poems mounted on some of the stalls.
He became more and more interested in mustard and the Colman family through the Radio 4 piece when he interviewed various people in Trowse. He thinks the Colmans should be more celebrated in Norwich and has followed up his research with the Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell.
This show is the result - part history talk, part storytelling and creative writing - and a Norfolk premiere. It is sold out, which is great, but possibly a couple of walk-ups available for those that missed out. Look out for updates in case anyone cancels.
