🎓 Supporting students who are considering maths-related degrees?

Developing strong problem-solving skills can help students build confidence, explore progression routes into higher education and prepare for university admissions tests where required.

Through the Higher Level Problem Solving programme, students can access free support at different stages of their journey, from an introduction to mathematical problem solving through to preparation for the Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA).

Applications are currently open for:

1️⃣ Setting Out in Problem Solving – an accessible introduction to mathematical problem solving for Year 12 students. Running 6 & 13 July

2️⃣ Preparing for the TMUA – specialist support for students planning to take the Test of Mathematics for University Admission. Starting 31 Aug or 2 Nov

3️⃣ Preparing for the TMUA On Demand – flexible online modules that students can complete at their own pace.

Students can apply for both Setting Out in Problem Solving and Preparing for the TMUA, making it possible to build skills and confidence progressively over time.

If you're supporting students with aspirations towards mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics or other maths-related degrees, these opportunities may be worth sharing.
