📢 Volunteers Needed! 💙

FOWS has two exciting events planned before the children break up for the summer, and we really need some extra help to make them a success.

If you'd like to support our events but can't commit to attending meetings, we'd still love to hear from you. Even a little help on the day would make a huge difference.

If you're interested in getting more involved and joining our team, we'd be delighted to welcome you! New ideas and extra pairs of hands are always appreciated.

We have a meeting next Wednesday to discuss upcoming plans. If you'd like details of the time and location, please comment below or send us a message.

🌍🏆 World Cup Colour & Design Competition Winners! 🎨✨

Wow! We have been blown away by all the amazing entries. A huge well done to everyone who took part. The creativity, colour and effort that went into each design made judging incredibly difficult, and Rob certainly had a tough job choosing the winners!

Thank you to everyone who entered. We loved looking through all your fantastic creations and are so proud of the talent in our school.

📢 Reminder: All World Cup Colouring Competition entries need to be handed in tomorrow.

Rob will be choosing the winners for each year group on Thursday morning. We've already received some wonderful entries and can't wait to see more, so don't forget to get yours in! ⚽🎨

Keep an eye out for your child bringing home a World Cup Colour & Design Competition sheet over the next few days!

This FREE competition is open to all children in the school. Children can colour, draw, design, and decorate their page however they like.

📅 Entries must be returned to class teachers by Monday 16th June.

🍬 Every entry will receive a small sweetie treat, and all participants will have the chance to win a cuddly football!

🏆 One winner will be chosen from each year group by Rob, our Academy Council Chairman, on 18th June.

✏️ Please remember to write your child's name and year group on the back of their entry.

We can't wait to see all the fantastic creations, which will also be used to decorate the hall for World Cup!

🏆 Well done, Yellow Team! 🏆

Congratulations to our Sports Day champions! What a fantastic afternoon it was, and every single child should be incredibly proud of themselves. The enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship on display were amazing to see. 🌟

A huge thank you to everyone who purchased refreshments and raffle tickets. Thanks to your support, we raised a fantastic £36 profit for the PTA! 🎉

Playpod shed clearout

We are going to aim to clear the shed this Monday coming (18th) after drop off if the weather is ok.

Once its cleared we will assess what needs doing next and what skills will be required to do the task.

Calling for brave volunteers!

FOWS is looking for a few fearless parents, carers, and friends to help us tackle the old PlayPod shed! It’s in need of a good clear out so we can transform it into an exciting role-playing space for the children to enjoy.

There may be a few eight-legged residents who currently think they own the place… so this job is best suited to those who don’t mind a spider or two! 🕸️

If you’re able to lend a hand, we’d be so grateful. Many hands make light work, and the end result will be a fantastic new space for the children.

🌟 A Huge Thank You from FOWS! 🌟

We hope everyone had a lovely Easter break and a warm welcome back to school! 🐣💛

We’d like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who donated prizes to our Easter raffle – your generosity made it such a fantastic success!

A special shoutout goes to Tesco for kindly donating some wonderful Easter eggs, we really appreciate your support! 🍫✨

And of course, thank you to everyone who bought tickets and got involved. Thanks to you all, we raised an amazing £188.64! 🎉

Every penny raised will go directly towards supporting the children at Willowbrook Primary School, helping to create even more opportunities and experiences for them.
