Re:fresh also provides personal hygiene items to the NEXUS project which offer the homeless cleaning facilities. Re:Fresh is a schools based project that provides toiletry and sanitary items to children and youth in need. It was established in 2015 in response to a growing awareness that many students are facing complex circumstances which means their basic hygiene requirements are not met. We dis

covered that by providing a simple bag of toiletries young people were empowered to take control and care for themselves. Re:fresh currently partners with several schools in the Wiltshire and Somerset area and in our first year of service, distributed approximately 250 wash bags to local youth. The response has been extremely encouraging and we are aware that this service is making a difference. What’s in a toiletry bag? We provide bags for males & females. Included are the following items:

shampoo
showergel
soap
toothbrush
toothpaste
sanitary towles
brush
deoderant

How can you help? Our vision is to build a reliable, ongoing service and we would love your help to achieve this. We rely on the donations and generosity of individuals, businesses, and local religious and community groups. If you would like to show your support for this project here are some ways you can help:

1. Donating Goods
We have various donation points where you can drop off any of the items listed. Please could we ask that the items are unused and suitable for young people. You may also feel inspired to set up a collection point in your work place - this would be great and we would love to hear from you if this is the case. Donation Points

Today Cerys and I delivered quite a few hygiene bags to a local Primary School who were very pleased to receive them! 🙂
These hygiene bags are crucial for many local children who are living in hygiene poverty and this is made possible by your wonderful donations!
You can donate directly to us at Emmanuel’s Yard, or in the designated trolleys in the main supermarkets locally.

This morning Cerys and I popped into the Storehouse FoodBank and got busy making up some hygiene bags for a local primary school. Ten Re:Fresh bags will be delivered by us later this week to a school where young students are in need of basic hygiene products. We can only do this with your help and donations and honestly we appreciate every single one. One toothbrush, one bottle of shower gel, one bottle of shampoo, it all makes a difference to one child, and collectively can make a difference to many.

This has been our lounge today. Absolute chaos. BUT charitable chaos! CerysAnne Donkin and I are totally focused on the Re:Fresh charity today. Making up hygiene bags for School children. All of these bags are to be donated to a local School. Your donations make this possible and we’re always grateful. This haul though is from a huge recent donation.

Our lovely friend Sarah organised a whole weekend festival recently for her birthday! It was huge success! She kindly set up a donation point for Re:Fresh and Storehouse Food Bank Trowbridge

We were collecting for Storehouse Food Bank Trowbridge and :fresh Trowbridge and you guys didn't disappoint. Along with the collection in the box we also raised £200 for the two charities. This will be a huge help to provide much needed items to this living below the poverty line 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

We’re quite low on certain hygiene products. We’re desperate for deodorant for males and females, shower gel and shampoo, and sanitary towels and hairbrushes please.
Any donations will be distributed amongst local primary and secondary educational establishments.
This will mean the difference between some children being clean and fresh and to be able to attend School positively or feeling stigmatised in school. 🙏 Re:Fresh Storehouse Food Bank Trowbridge

This morning I’ve made up some Re:Fresh bags so we’re stocked up ready for any donations to be distributed.
We’re really low on deodorant, shampoo and conditioner and really appreciate any basic hygiene products that you can donate please 🙏

We always welcome donations for our hygiene packs. These packs are made up to be distributed amongst children across the whole of Wiltshire who are living in hygiene poverty. We provide Schools with hygiene packs to offer children some basic products to assist them with keeping clean, meaning they can focus on education and socialising.
Other donations will be shared amongst other adults in the community who are experiencing hardship, poverty or homelessness.
