Our Beautiful Inside & Out SCIO charity shop was all ready for the fabulous Glasgow taxi drivers bringing children and families to Troon for a lovely day of respite. We had a Matilda theme and our charity logo has taken on a Scottish supporters theme for the World Cup. Our lovely volunteer, Lisa Roxburgh, painted the window. I added the corresponding writing as our message is important: ‘Never let a little thing like ‘little’ stop you!’ …and ‘When I grow up I will be brave enough to fight the creatures…’ as featured in the musical. 🩷❤️💜🩵💚💛🧡

Sad news😳…Another fantastic day in our lovely charity shop, meeting lovely customers and selling lots of beautiful items….We are so very sad though….Firstly, we thank a lovely crafter for donating some beautiful painted glass pictures. We sold a few and then realised that the lovely one featuring colourful cats had not been bought, but STOLEN….This was not a necessary item. It was very reasonably priced. Please let us remind the thief that everyone who gives up their time to help in our shop is an UNPAID volunteer, happy to give their time to help us to fund counselling and therapy sessions to improve and save lives…If you steal from our shop, you are taking funds away from our cause- to organise and fund counselling, play therapy, sound therapy or art therapy, group sessions and work in schools and universities. You are taking funding away from someone who has just lost a loved one by su***de or from someone who is struggling with life. Stealing at all is wrong, but to steal from a charity which I founded following the loss of my 13 year old little girl by su***de, two days after her anniversary, is a real stab to the heart.Find a way of paying back what you stole. Thank you to all our genuinely lovely customers. 🩵
