We were very pleased to welcome Ken and David from CWAS Troon to Monday’s Troon Men's Shed meeting where they gave a very informative and interesting presentation about the background to Cycling Without Age and the trishaws in Troon.

The trishaws enable people with reduce mobility to have a ride along the seafront, and CWAS Troon provide regular rides from several of the care homes in Troon thanks to the volunteer Pilots and Co-Pilots. If you see a trishaw out on a ride them give them a wave!

CWAS Troon will welcome people who want to volunteer as a Pilot of a trishaw, as well as those who who can act as Co-Pilot and be available to ride their own bicycle alongside the trishaw to help raise the awareness of other users of the prom at Troon that a trishaw is approaching.
