Whilst we made the decision to close Troon Ladies Circle in May, we still had one last thing to do - who should we donate the last of our fundraising money to? After a lot of discussion, we were excited to present Troon Water Sports Hub with a cheque for £755.75 last week. We are sure the hub will be a massive addition to our community when it opens
The Hub was delighted to receive a cheque for £755.75 from Troon Ladies Circle as a donation towards our Just Giving fund appeal.
Chair Vincent McWhirter and Secretary Harry Risk received a cheque at the recent Ladies Circle meeting.
Our Just Giving page funding appeal is still open and we would appreciate any donations from local businesses and community to help us reach our target.
The Hub project is progressing well with Planning Approval accepted, a 50 year land lease in place and Community Asset Transfer of the land agreed. The Building Warrant application is now with South Ayrshire Council for consideration and Structural Engineers are progressing the engineering requirements. Current estimation is mid 2026 for completion.
