We had another wonderful night being entertained by the ever-talented and generous Peter Grant and Michelle Sheridan-Grant, this time at Kilkerran in Ayrshire. With many new songs added, including a particularly apt (for the time of year / county) Burns' set, and some old favourites, it was so special to hear them in the enchanting surroundings.

Somehow we squeezed everyone into the dining room for a delicious supper afterwards, cooked by Flora Fergusson, which topped off a super evening. Overall we are thrilled to report it raised nearly £3,000.

With enormous thanks to:

- Singers Peter Grant & Michelle Sheridan-Grant
- Adam and Jenny Fergusson of Kilkerran
- Accompanist Gordon Murch
- Chef Flora Fergusson
- Emma & Joe Fergusson
- Ardtaraig Fine Foods for a sumptuous hamper raffle prize
- Lois Bee for gorgeous 'Ben' Bosie Bear
- Bread & Butter Marketing for sponsoring the drinks
- The Hunter Blairs for their chairs
- All the kind people who moved chairs, poured drinks, handed round, sold raffle tickets, served food and did so much to make it go smoothly

Oh wow, what a glorious evening we had with Peter Grant and Michelle Sheridan Grant singing for us at Kincardine Estate. It was the perfect location to make the most of the talents of Peter and Michelle who took us through a huge range of music, from opera to Scottish and Irish folk and musical theatre songs. With a delicious supper by Kincardine Castle Kitchen we were thoroughly spoiled. Not only all of that, but we also raised over £4,000 for the Jo Walters Trust (final sum still TBC).

We just can't thank Peter and Michelle for singing, Ed and Rose Bradford for letting us use Kincardine, nor Louisa and Rupert at Kincardine Castle Kitchen enough for all their support and kindness in making it all possible. Will follow up with some further thanks and more photos but couldn't wait to share these ones so far taken by Andie Bradford which capture it all so well.

Delighted to say that's the concert fully booked. Very much looking forward to a wonderful evening with Peter and Michelle on Saturday, seeing many friends and (after a sneak preview of the menu) having a really splendid dinner after!

What a superb outcome school parent council, well done to all involved! They took a very small grant (£247) from the Jo Walters Trust using it to buy seeds and gardening equipment so the children could grow pumpkins at school, and then used the pumpkins to raise money for the school. It looks like a lot of fun 🎃🎃🎃
