As many of you are already aware…. We as are business are no longer able to be open to the public and have set opening hours. We will however, once a month, be having Saturday opening hours. But for an entire year of being open three days a week we had just seven people through the doors. SEVEN. And only three of those guests bought something. So sadly the accountant hat needs to be put on and I can’t afford to pay staff to be in when customers don’t come.
I would of course love to have you visit and being appointment only means we will find the perfect time for you to come to the studio. One guest came at 9:45pm as that world best for her!! We will make it work. And we can not wait to host you. I know this isn’t the many would like it. But I only have myself and then Sylvia one day a week. So we have to work with what we have and I am sorry this didn’t work for some people.
Luckily there remain a handful of shops for you to support and enjoy if it isn’t mine. I am never going to please everyone. And sadly if I need to have a day off to recover from three hectic weeks of insane hours, driving and work, I am not apologizing for it. And I certainly won’t be made to feel guilty for putting myself and my health above your upset of my business choices. I never put myself first and when I nervously do… I need to have that respected.
I will be in the studio all day tomorrow from 11am to around 10pm as it’s zoom night. So if anyone fancies popping down i would certainly love to see you. The studio will be filled with all the products I trekked to Glasgow and the NEC so it will be a creative disaster. I can not wait!! And I am lucky to have nine quilts on the waiting list to quilt for my gorgeous customers.
