One or two weeks per month we loan the shop to local youth & community groups - they run the shop and keep the taking - our way of helping them raise Money & Awareness for the group or project. We offer the running of the shop on a variety of ways - whole week, couple of days, a regular day for several weeks - "flexible that's what we are"
Rhondda is famous as probably the foremost mining community in the country. It is also synonymous with strong cultural ties such as male voice choirs, etc. The Rotary Club is a small homely one which meets each Monday evening at 6.00pm at Cambrian Lakeside Cafe-Bar, Cambrian Countryside Park, Clydach Vale which is in the Rhondda Fawr, the larger of the two valleys. We usually have a wonderful 2 course dinner. Club Council is on the first Monday of the month, Business is dealt with on the second Monday, and on the other Mondays we have fun, fellowship, friendship, guest speakers, and loads of other interesting stuff!
